Commemorate Michael Jackson

Rather unbelievably, it's almost been 2 years since Michael Jackson passed. Only seems like yesterday. There are many different ways for people to pay tribute to the King of Pop, however, this lens mainly links the grand event to Michael's favorite shirt. A well-chosen Michael Jackson shirt would be an excellent choice - why not wear an exclusive by Ed Hardy, one of Michael Jackson's favorite designers?

Life About Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson was born on August 29, 1958, the eighth of ten children to an African American working-class family, in Gary, Indiana, an industrial suburb of Chicago. His mother, Katherine Esther Scruse, was a devout Jehovah's Witness, and his father, Joseph Walter "Joe" Jackson, a steel mill worker who performed with an R&B band called The Falcons.

Jackson had a troubled relationship with his father, Joe. Joseph acknowledged in 2003 that he regularly whipped Jackson as a child. Michael stated that he was physically and emotionally abused during incessant rehearsals, though also credited his father's strict discipline with playing a large role in his success. Jackson first spoke openly about his childhood abuse in an interview with Oprah Winfrey, broadcast in February 1993. He admitted that he had often cried from loneliness and he would vomit on the sight of his father. Jackson's father was also said to have verbally abused Jackson, saying that he had a fat nose on numerous occasions.

Michael Jackson's Career

Michael Jackson's CareerIn 1964, Michael and Marlon joined the Jackson Brothers-a band formed by brothers Jackie, Tito, and Jermaine-as backup musicians playing congas and tambourine. Jackson later began performing backup vocals and dancing. When he was eight, Jackson began sharing the lead vocals with his older brother Jermaine, and the group's name was changed to The Jackson 5. In 1966, they won a major local talent show with renditions of Motown hits and James Brown's "I Got You (I Feel Good)", led by Michael. Between 1972 and 1975, Jackson released four solo studio albums with Motown, among them Got to Be There and Ben, released as part of the Jackson 5 franchise, and producing successful singles such as "Got to Be There", "Ben", and a remake of Bobby Day's "Rockin' Robin".

To Remember MJ, Are You Ready to Wear ED HARDY?

Michael Jackson's Favorite Shirts

It is true that Michael Jackson wishes to do business in Ed Hardy and dreams to be the King of Clothing. Before his death, he even took his three kids to the Ed Hardy store in Hollywood for shopping. Now MJ has passed away, the world will miss the king of pop. At the same time, a promising giant of fashion also fell down. The best thing we can do to realize his unfinished dream is to wear Ed Hardy in our daily life.

List of Great Michael Jackson Songs

Celebrate June 25, 2010, Let the Music Live On

Michael Jackson songsIn honor of his death, light a candle and crank up some good old Michael Jackson songs. One of my favorite tunes from the King will always be "You Are Not Alone." It reminds me of how sweet life is, and no matter what we are not alone. My favorite verse from the song is:

That you are not alone, for I am here with you
Though you're far away, I am here to stay
But you are not alone, for I am here with you
Though we're far apart, you're always in my heart
For you are not alone.

Those were my top 10 songs, which I enjoyed and could remember.
You Are Not Alone
We Are The World
Beat It
Bad
Thriller
Billy Jean
Black or White
Remember The Time
Man In The Mirror
P.Y.T

How Will You Celebrate Michael Jackson's One Year Anniversary?

On this special occasion, I will miss Michael Jackson badly. Michael was a kind man who was greatly misunderstood. It has been hard for Michael to be so famous that anything couldn't be done without bodyguards' following. To make things worse, it seems that everyone around him wanted to capitalize him, sue him, or just take advantage of him in some way. Michael Jackson was truly unique. No musician could ever match up to him. The title "the King of Pop" Michael Jackson obtained in his short-lived career was well deserved. If you too loved Michael Jackson, how will you pay tribute to him? Vote by using the up arrow.

I never was really the biggest fan of Michael Jackson's music, but as far as his works as a philanthropist goes the world lost something that it needed the most -- heart.

People ask, "Where were you when the Space Shuttle Colombia crashed?" and "Where were you on 9/11 when the towers came down?" And now "What were doing on the day Michael Jackson died?" Me, I was just arriving at a Jazzercise convention when I heard the news. We worked out for six hours straight that day, and they played a LOT of MJ music. I'll also remember it as the day Farrah Fawcett died.
