Creating value to everyone that enters your doorway and when they exit they must leave feeling they gain something from the experience. even if it is just a warm and sincere smile and greeting.

You must add to the perceive value of your clients, customers, friends and family members and any potential new business partners if you want to succeed in business and relationships. But the big question is how do we do this? It all starts with you being genuinely interested in others. Start always by greeting people with an expression of warmth and caringness, followed with a question.

I suggest something slightly different a good example is to ask what is your speciality or expertise? This will help raise curiousity in what do you mean by your question and in most cases lead to further discussion.

I would suggest another question along the same line, example ask what is your biggest project or committment you are working on at the moment. It could be personal, domestic, professional, business, family, travel, etc again this can in most cases make chatting to you different and in most cases interesting. This will also give you some insight into what might be important to them right now.

Finally a third question how or who can I put you in touch with that could help you or assist you with that project or committment? You must do as much as you can to point them to the right person or resource that will match their need, by doing this you have added value and a relationship may have started once they receive that value not before but after, you may even ask for a contact number to pass on to the person who maybe able to help.

There is a second part to this how do you build up your resources and get more connected one way is through social media sharing and talking to people you can rapidly expand your network of knowledge and resources simply by connecting with people.

Learn to brand yourself and how you do this is with your face. Get a good quality professional photo taken and begin to use that photo as your trademark photo on all your social network sites, Twitter, facebook, myspace, friendfeed, Linkedin just to name a few.

A very smart man once said imagine these social sites are magazines and everytime someone open a magazine no matter where they were or what magazine you where there in side that magazine each and every time they open one up do you think they would start to recognize you and start to become familiar with you, Yes of course they would. It is the same for social networking and the rules are the same talk with people and supply them with value and what it is they need and they will soon be willing to refer you to others.

This is how you begin to build your brand you, your face and the value of being in touch with you is by you helping others and then others will help you. Pay it forward was a movie on this principle and it truely works when you give people real value that they need not what you need.

This is the price of personal and professional success is to give honestly and with integrity and then people will soon begin to realize that you offer what they often need only then will they become loyal customers or clients, friends, business partners etc.. The old model of marketing style was once a very effective way of doing business, if you go back in time, you will find that almost every business model was based on personal customer service. Take the old petrol stations as an example you would pull into a gas station and you would sit in your car while you had the owner come and fill your car up with gas and clean your windscreen while you waited for your tank to fill, then you would pay and drive off, all without getting out of your car because they would come to you. Has this model changed YES, you the consumer pulls up you get out of your car you fill up you go in the station grab a drink a choclate bar and you then go up pay and your on your way you decided what you wanted!...and how you wanted it to be.

You say what has this got to do with Network Marketing? Well it has a lot to do with the current style and trends of how business has changed over the years and how it continues to evolve and what the next decade will look like verses the last decade.

The old style of business was conducted in a way that had business owners coming to you this is how it was done in the past. Once we were very inter-dependant on people coming up to us advising us on what to buy or how to do things and we would listen and trust that was the best way to do things but what about today.

Today that is all changing people are very independant and have learn't not to be so willing to trust everything we get introduced to or told. We are bombarded with people sharing one opportunity after another do you think this has an effect on business in general "you betcha it does". People want to be left alone and prefer to go away researchand then shop around for the best price, best service, best everything and this translates to a more educated buyer and consumer.

It is No different in the business world of Network Marketing people will now decide what type of company they want to join. Some of the key ingrediants that will influence their decision towards a particular company will be the uniqueness and effectiveness of the product or service and how much it meets their need. If they are going to promote and build it into residual income it must have a great compensation plan attached to it, but most importantly it must be simple with a highly effective system for mass duplication with advance online recruiting tools built in the system

If people decide they need extra income or want to start their own business or are in need for a particular product they'll begin by thinking about the type of business or product they want and then they will start doing research on the company, product or service to learn more about it and eventually they move decide based on if it feels right and has all the key ingrediants to market effectively for them and will give them the benefits they are looking for. Not what others tell them is right for them.

No longer does the family doctor come to your home for check ups if you want to see a doctor you source one out and you go to him or her, No longer does the baker deliver hot warm bread to your front door, you go to the baker,

The days of the horse and cart and your local milk man are gone and with it all of these past ways of doing business, business has moved on and evolved into the consumer seeks out what it is they need or want and it is the same trend in Network Marketing.

If you continue the old school old method sure you will occasionally find people that will join your business but you are really working harder than is necessary and doing it the slow and often frustrating way, sometimes it even makes you feel lousy because you sometimes dont have the skill to bring up the conversation or the have the credability to tell people they can be financially secure, I know all this I was once in your shoes I know how hard you can work and get minor results or have people join and either do nothing or they simply drop off after awhile when they see no real results.

Well there is a newer much more effective, less embarrassing way to do business all you need to do is have a paradigm shift in your thinking and get out from under the old umbrella of hunting your friends, family and the old three foot rule thinking, you want to become the hunted not the hunter people searching for you and what you have to offer oppose to you chasing them and trying to sell to them, when they may not even want to buy.

That is not EFFECTIVE MARKETING any more chasing people despite what you are being told by old schoolers, do your research, check it out start to investigate and I know you will find I am telling you the truth. Until you get all the Facts about Network Marketing and understand that often there is many varibles to why the guy up on stage was able to do it old school you are just being sold a story without knowing all the facts.

This is why 95% of newbies fail or are challenged with the old model it teaches you to carry buckets of water instesd of building a free flowing pipeline...

I want to leave this article with some food for thought look at all the new model network marketing businesses did they begin to evolve? Yes how by taking all their products and putting them online (the internet). Did they stay with the old model and ignore the internet revolution NO they didn't so why should you?

Tapp into the growing trends isn't this what we teach in our businesses, know the trends and be at fore front of them not the back end when its all over and the next new trend is emerging only for you to have miss out again because you were at the end of an era. Look at vinyl records you could be the absolute best producer of vinyl records but would that do you any good in todays market when everyone buys CD's or DVD's, No of course not so learn attraction marketing and be position correctly to take advantage of current econmic trends.

Look for companies that embrace moving with the times and are constantly upgrading their technology to stay up with consumer demands and capitlizing on trends by staying ahead of the growing consumer market and investing in the right kind of tools that help their distributors be fully prepared and equiped for the 2nd round Internet Explosion of Social Network Marketing.
