Mary Was Very Young When She Gave Birth to Jesus

Mary was chosen by God to be the mother of God's Son. One day, an angel appeared and told her that she was going to have a baby, and that she should call his name Jesus.

Mary was betrothed to Joseph, and when he found out she was already pregnant, he was going to move her away from her home before anyone else found out.

Angels were busy during that time... while Joseph was thinking about how to make the move; an angel showed up in Joseph's dreams! He told him not to be afraid to take Mary as his wife.

It was the beginning of an exciting, and sometime frightening experience for both of them!

Mary finally gave birth to baby Jesus in a town called Bethlehem. She raised baby Jesus until He grew to be a man, and stayed with him all the way to the cross on which he was crucified.
