Where can I find a more in depth description of how and why this works? The original document may be too in depth but I would like to understand the principles behind the procedure.

Now that is definitely a creative use of the reusing healthy parts of ones physical body to repair other damaged units.

It is always reassuring to see how our bodies adapt and heal with a little prodding, or perhaps a lot in this case.

Thanks Dr. Menon for explaining Dr Falcinelli's innovative work and the great images that help explain as well.
