- Travian is a game where you grow a small farming village into a great empire. Actions take place in real time. There are lots of strategies one can use to rule their world. With three races to choose from, there's lots of opportunity to explore the various methods of winning.
The design is elegant and simple. The controls are pretty easy to understand. My only compaint is that your first turn will be over in a flash and you'll have to wait for 40 mins for the first building to be built. - Urban Dead

With the task as ruler of your homestead comes the responsibility of managing a party of heroes all willing to fight under your banner. You appoint these heroes for weekly arena battles against other lords and you send them into the wilderness to complete dangerous quests and fight vicious monsters.
The game is played using only the internet and a browser. The game is text-based and is played real time, meaning that most events take place on a regular weekly scheduled basis.
