Complaint to MTNL Garuda

Mr. GM.

I had to resort to complain to you for I have not received any response to my complaint no 13660 made on 26th Mar 2009 for my Garuda FW landline not working since 26th Mar 2009.

The phone number is 22913230 as stated in the subject.

I was promised by your call center 1502 that the phone will start working by evening of 26th Mar 2009 which did not happen as of the time I am writing this email.

I have several issues here

1. Your call center people do not have courtesy of putting people on hold they just keep the phone on side and wander away and disconnect the line at random

2. You at MTNL do not understand the term Customer Service as there was no one who either called me on my alternate phone number 9869310378 or visited my home to check on what was the issue and no assurance are given when will the problem be fixed.

3. You at MTNL have no sense of courtesy towards customers while talking to them especially the Garuda Call Center. They have not heard of the word known as SLA (Service Level Agreement)

4. Last but not the least when do you think that my phone will start working as I do intend to take this matter to the bureau of Consumer Affairs as well as I am going to submit an application under RTI to know why you people are paid fat salaries when you sit on your comfortable revolving chairs in your cosy air conditioned offices while we slog all day long so that we could pay your extra ordinary bills for services not rendered.

Please be assured that I will not sit quietly and will take this upto the Ministry of Telecom, DOT and TRAI and also to the Media if required if you do not resolve my problem immediately.
