Do not add mafia as soon as you start because with lack of weapons your mafia will be defenseless. Mafia war players will require 'Mafia Mikes' and 'Bloody chainsaw' for every 2 members.
You need to use your points to gain energy because quest is going to be the primary source for cash and experience. So maintaining high energy will lead you to higher levels faster.
You can get weapons either by buying or looting. It is always better to loot at higher missions.

Level 1 - 4: Auto Theft
Level 5 - 8: Bank Heist
Level 9 - 12: Museum Break In
Level 13 - 17: Wiretap the Cops

- Avoid hit list at any cost especially when you are in lower level. If you are in hit list at lower levels then you will get killed again and again by higher level players.
- When you use other stats other than energy always keep attack=defence.
- When you attack someone and get maximum amount of money then bookmark them and attack then as many times as possible.
- (MySpace only) You can beat the 10% ban fee by depositing $9 at a time.
- (MySpace only) Send an energy pack to your friend. Then go to his/her MySpace page and click the link. You will receive an energy pack for yourself.
