Attaching your magnetic mailbox cover is simple and easy

*Lift the mailbox flag to the up position.
*Attach the mailbox cover to the flag side of the mailbox first. Slide the slot in the mailbox cover around the flag. Then align the edge of the mailbox cover with the bottom edge of the mailbox, then let the magnet attach itself to the mailbox.
*Once the flag side of the cover is in position, just wrap the mailbox cover over the top of the mailbox and attach the magnet to the other side. If necessary, adjust the positioning to remove any slack in the cover's fit.
*Position the cover toward the rear of the mailbox to avoid damaging the cover when opening and closing the mailbox door.
