Don't Send That Embarrasing Email

I was digging through Google Trends to see what people were searching for and came across Mail Goggles. At first I thought people were misspelling Google Mail program but this is better. Looking further, I actually ended up laughing out loud and best of all, it is not a hoax!

So what on earth is Google Mail Goggles and why would you want it? Well the 'why' part should actually be addressed first.

Ever hear about the guy who got so drunk at the office Christmas party that his antics became company lore? How do you think he felt in the morning (after the hangover I mean)? What if there was someone who could make him stop long enough to actually think about what he was saying. Better yet, what if someone was able to stop him before he blurted out something that was better left unsaid? Well, at the party, he is still on his own.

Mail Goggles is like the friend who steps in and keeps you from doing something stupid. It is an application that you can activate in your Google Mail. It checks your sobriety before letting you send late night weekend emails. Now if you can do math even when you can't walk straight, this might not be for you. For the rest of us who actually need a calculator or pen and paper to answer a math question, Mail Goggles can make it so that at the very least, it's not worth the bother and we can wait till morning to share that email.
