There are lots of variations of these basic systems, The Deep Water Culture is one of the simplest systems and ideal for the classroom

Deep Water Culture (DWC)

The dwc hydroponics is probably the easiest hydroponic set-up of all the systems, it is a large container to hold the nutrient rich water, with an air pump outside the container and an air stone in container to oxygenate the nutrient.

Holes are cut in the lid of the container to hold the net pots, the net pot bottoms are submerged in the nutrient, the plants are placed in the growth medium so that their roots are always in the nutrient. Make a Hydroponic System

Because you are not restricted by ground area then Hydroponic gardening is ideal for small gardens, because you not only grow on the flat but also upwards, so your 2 dimensional garden has now turned into a 3 Dimensional one with the added complication of having to plan upwards as well as sideways.

This can lead to some intricate designs, of course you do not have to set out your gardens for all hydroponics you can mix and match with conventional garden style whether organic or not.

A hydroponic system can be simple and cheap or complicated and expensive you can make a hydroponic system using a piece of Styrofoam floating inside a fish tank or it can be a very complicated state of the art spray system that controls everything to do with care of the plants.

I completely agree with published points, initially hydroponics set up cost is bit of high and all farmers may not afford such expensive equipments. People may suffer due to changing moisture and unstable humidity level. But hydroponic is time consuming method, requires small space to grow yields and gives larger and healthy yields.
