Please show me how to make a homemade water filter! My drinking water is dirty and I have to do something about it, and soon. Is this you? Well, I think this is most of us these days.

So, now we do not have a choice, all of us has to filter our water and it is best to make a homemade water filter as you know exactly what is in it and that it actually works as it should. The other reason why it is best to make a homemade water filter is that it is a whole lot cheaper.

You will be surprised at how easy it is to make a homemade water filter. You will need a little time and you will need to be a little handy. But, for the average person it will be possible to construct a homemade water filter in more or less one hour.

    Hand-Pump Water Filters

    Many hand-pump style portable water filter models are made for hiking, and these are super compact and lightweight. Some, though, are made for more stationary use, such as base-camps. Base-camp options normally clean & treat water more quickly and efficiently, but they're often too large to carry in a hiking pack for long. Pump options tend to be the fastest way to filter large quantities of water, but you must operate the pump by hand which can be less convenient than a UV or gravity portable water filter.     After a short period of time I discovered that using a tap water filter helps me eliminate the dangerous bacteria and debris from the water. The filter even eliminates the heavy metals and the parasites. But still, many of the filters were expensive and even hard to use. I had a problem. Some water cooler and purifier are so accurate about cleaning the water that they even remove some good minerals in the tap water.

    Whether or not we make our own homemade water filter it still stands that our tap water is just plain and unhealthy even in a developed country.
