Making Money Amateur Blog

It's time to blog people!!! But don't go in expecting you're going to quit your day job any time soon. Blogging is NOT an easy path to income online. If you've heard those stories, those days are OVER OVER OVER. Everyone and their mother has exploited the opportunity for making money blogging. Now you have a bunch of people just selling to each other. No fun there. Additionally, you have Google getting smarter and smarter every day about how to spot a quality blog from the crappy commercial ones thrown together. Remember, their stock is over $700 a share and they have serious capital they can put behind these types of R&D efforts. Sounds impossible given the number of blogs out there? Well, not if you put 5,000 developers and some of the brightest Internet thinkers of our time on the project. Is there such a thing as a Ph.D. in Internet Sciences? There should be.

Well - Bottom line. Blog if you want to blog. Do it for fun. Do it for the passion. Think of other business ideas if you want a business. Read the old fashioned business books for that and leave the blogging in the hobby column.
