Now I pay my bills writing online. I love my job, and I like to give everyone who is interested in learning how to write online for money free tips at my blog, Write For Cash.

Balancing Work and Life

Tips For Working At Home Successfully

When working at home, it is important to maintain a balance between work time and family time. Here are the ways I stay successful:

Wake up and get ready. I wouldn't dream of rolling out of bed and heading to an office outside the home in my pajamas. Wake up, shower, get dressed. You will feel ready for your work day.

Keep a planner or calendar. I keep my daily calendar on my bulletin board in front of my desk. Each day has a list of tasks that has to be completed that day. Keeping them right in front of me helps me stay focused and on task.

Take regular breaks. Most jobs outside the home have break time and working at home is no different. I leave my office for lunch, and I take regular breaks to make sure my eyes stay fresh.

Close the door. If you have family at home during work time, try to close the door for most of your work day. Let them know that when the door is closed you are unavailable except in emergency situations.
