First, I need to tell you that I have dabbled in internet marketing, affiliate sales, and made a few bucks in the past. So whether you have a handle on basic marketing strategies, or are a complete newbie. You need to stay current. I've spent alot of time in the past building websites, landing pages, only to slack off when the money starts coming in.
So if you are looking to make a few bucks temporarily, you will, but don't expect it to last.
If your willing to work hard, set aside 1 to 2 hours a day 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
Your income will steadily grow every month, every year.

Education is probably one of the most important aspects of learning how to make money online. You can join an affiliate program choose from over 10,000 products to sell and sit and hope to start making cash, but unless you know specific information on how to get people to visit your website. nobody will click your partner links, and you wont make a dime.
Bum Marketing
So easy even a bum can do it
Bum marketing is the use of free marketing resources aimed at assisting you in earning income via affiliate sales.
Bum Marketing includes sites such as goarticles.com , ezinearticles.com , blogs such as blogspot and wordpress. Even Squidoo can be classified as a resource of Bum Marketing.
A word to the future bum. Article sites want fresh, unique articles that have substance. Some affiliate programs ebooks, and make $1000 a week sites offer premade articles. 99.9% they will not be approved. If you need some help on writing articles, do a google search on "Adcopy". there are plenty of tutorials on how to write an ad, that can be applied to article writing.
I guess it's best to start out with a topic that you are familiar with.
Once you complete your article, Make sure you link it back to your blog, Squidoo Lens, or other website that you want to draw traffic to.

Affiliate Marketers are using youtube to drive traffic to their websites, by creating how to videos, entertainment videos, and viral videos. embedded with their website url's before, after and throughout the video that they create.
Personally I have not tried video marketing, but I think next week I'll have a go at it.
