So You Want To Start Making Money Using Squidoo?
Once people start to see or hear the power of Web 2.0 and Social Marketing they want in. Once of the most popular ways to make money online is to use Squidoo. There are still lots of people that want to start earning money online but have still not explored Squidoo or know how they can start making money using Squidoo.
So is it as easy as people think once they do see the potential?
Well, for a LONG time people have been harping on about Google and their love affair with Squidoo and how you can completely dominate Google just by creating a lens (webpage).
Let me tell you know ... things have changed!
Just take a look at these stats to see just how much things have changed. Is it for the better though?
Let me tell you that these are traffic stats for a lens that is ONLY three weeks old and this is for that whole time. Pretty cool hu? I think that this should show you that almost ANYONE can start making money using Squidoo!

Getting Squidoo Lenses In The Search Engines
If You Still Think It's All About Google & Squidoo - Think Again!
Things change all the time on the internet. Sometimes it's a slow evolving change and other times it's a bolt of lightning coming from nowhere. It's down to us as marketers to work with these changes and move with them.At one point it was simple to come along and start making money using Squidoo. These days though, it's slightly diferent. We all remember the Squidoo Slap don't we?
It was one of the biggest shake up's that Squidoo has ever seen and it shook marketers who were harnessing the power Squidoo has and making money through Squidoo.
Although Squidoo recovered really well from the slap, the other search engines like Yahoo! were still staying away from it. That is until Squidoo fixed the problems it was having with spammers. Once that problem was fixed Squidoo was adored by Google and Yahoo!
Making money using Squidoo is still easy pickings when you know what you are meant to be doing and more importantly ACTUALLY doing it. I've posted quite a lot about this over at my blog - Kelly Stone Blog- and I can tell you that people will continue to FAIL and not make any money on Squidoo unless they realise that it is work in progress.
Using Squidoo to make money is a great way to start getting to grips with the basics of internet marketing. Once you have the basics in place the rest will come naturally. This is one thing that I literally drum into my members at Squidoo Queen
How Much Money Can A Lens Make?
Ahhh, the money!
One thing people first ask me when they want to start making money using Squidoo is "How much money will my lens make?" or "How much money can I make using Squidoo?"The answer to both of these questions is simple. How much time and effort do you want to put in? After all, this is no diferent to anything else. The more you put in - the more you'll get out.
Making money directly off of your Squidoo lenses is not something that I recommend doing. (Yes it can and is done by other very successfully) I always tell people that I am an affiliate marketer through and through - my aim is to take my marketing knowledge and apply that to Squidoo. I teach people how they can do the same thing too at Squidoo Queen.
Most people will expect to see results before they part with their cash to learn something new. That's great - this lens is actually a lens that has been built for the members of my free marketing course that I am running. You should count both Squidoo income (shared between you and Squidoo) and any affiliate sales that you make.
