Breaking into the industry of male modeling can be difficult but very rewarding if successful. There are many choices you will have to make when getting started. Working with a well connected modeling agency and photographer will be important. Having someone that can help create a winning wardrobe and even a makeup artist is important. Being able to tweak every aspect of your look and promotion will be key. Getting featured in as many publications as possible will be important to start creating a resume of work that shows off your different looks and styles.

Your portfolio should consist of at least 12 photos that showcase your different styles. Remember not to try and be something that you are not. Be the best at the looks that you can pull off. Find a mentor in the industry could be a big help to limit the amount of initial mistakes that you make.
