Mandisa Hundley ( American Idol to Instant Fame )

I've read in blogs where people have said that various Mandisa songs bring them to tears each time they hear them. The first time I watched this video, it brought tears to me. So go grab a drink and a snack as well as a tissue. This is Mandisa in her own words describing how the audition went.

I discovered Mandisa by hearing this song on the radio. I really love this video because I think Mandisa is probably just as good of a speaker as she is a singer.

When I heard this song on the radio during Christmas last year and I linked it together with "Only The World" I then realized that Contemporary Christian Music had a new star on its hands and I began telling everyone I knew. It was then that a few of my friends had told me she was actually on American Idol too. So I later went to Youtube and discovered the history.

I'm still not sure how well I know Matthew West. But Mandisa really makes this duet pop, although "Mathwessa" isn't that bad either and certainly better than I could do.
