Auto Auction Reviews: Part 1

Car Auction Review

I was looking in the internet for some nice content when i came across this site with some reviews. As with everything, it gives us some impression from the site but the FINAL decision is yours. I even might have a different opinion but ALL what matters is you. It would be irresponsible from my part, if i say that everything written in the review is true. I still have not checked all the facts. But certainly it will give you some heads up to your fruitful Auto Auction search. So have a look at the reviews, i will comment after all the reviews that i post here

Car-Auction is one site where all sort of transport vehicles (cars, trucks, suv's, boats, aircrafts, atv's, motorcycles, vans, buses and a lot more) can be auctioned off for very cheap. Why so cheap? Because Every month, 1000s of cars become government property through seized and foreclosure laws. Since there are so many cars in these government auctions, and the enormous costs for storage, these cars must be sold fast and cheap!

Ease of Use : Car-Auction is quite easy to use. You can sign up and pay with a credit card using Car-Auction's Clickbank
, a quality credit card processor. Once paid, a user receives his or her password via e-mail and is immediately ready to search.

The Good : The website is easy to navigate and search. You get full access to car-auction.com database that will take you to real auction websites. It will save you a lot of time and energy looking for the best possible deal for your vehicle. They also listed a huge number of Fleet Liquidations. We were able to search for and find nearly every type of car or truck we could think of.

The Bad : The website has confusing sign-up fees. Extra fees are charged for access to seized vehicle auctions and seized real estate. This is confusing since the website claims to provide this service to its members anyway. There should be no extra fees. Users should be wary.

The Bottom Line : The website is definitely very good for the first time auction users. Moreover,Car-Auction offers their customers and members a 56 day refund allowance.
This means that any day from the first to that 56th day you can refund your purchase of Car-Auction.

Car-Auctions.com did not engage in any of the shady or questionable practices we've seen on many of the sites. No automatic re-billing, and no "hidden" charges.

When i enter their website, my McAfee Site advisor detector turns into red, meaning that one must be cautious with this site. When i digg further to find out why it turned red, i found the following statement: "When we visited this site, we found that most of its links are to sites which are safe or have only minor safety/annoyance issues."

Now, i cannot deny nor confirm this. My point is that you have to cautious, that's all!

Government Seized Auto

What to consider in government seized auto auctions

Hi there!,
today i found another great source of information.

If you know everything on cars, you know how expensive they can be to buy and maintain. A lot of your money goes into your car (and, especially today, most of that money goes straight into the gas tank). Some people just can't afford the upkeep on their automobiles, or for other reasons have their vehicles taken by the US government. The good info is, a government seized Auto auction can basically be a great place for you to go, whether you're in the market for a new automobile or not.

You'll find that, at a government seized auto auction, there is a huge variety of automobiles available for you to bid on. Here's the trick of a government seized auto auction: you will be able to buy any car for less than what it is worth. With some little work, and sometimes amid no work at all, you can turn right around and re-sell such automobiles for a large profit.

Not many people know about government seized auto auctions, so there will not be a lot of competition for vehicles that you're bidding on. There are so very different vehicles to choose from, you're bound to get one that will become someone's next dream car. Whether you want to buy a car to re-sell, or you're seeking for a car for yourself or a child, a government seized auto auction is the best place to look for an affordable used vehicle. Why waste time with a double-talking car dealer when you can go to a government seized auto auction, where what you see is what you get?

You will have the opportunity, before the actual government seized auto auction itself, to walk around and take a look at the vehicles you will be bidding on. You can look under the hood, inside the car itself, and already have a good idea of what kind of physical condition the vehicle in question is in before the bidding begins. A government foreclosed auto auction is a insane place to afford a used car, one that you can buy that day without any hassle or red tape. Once the auction is over, you'll be ready to take your car. It's just that easy!

Car Auction buying tips

A 5 step guideline to consider when buying a car at auto auction

Car auctions can be the smartest way to get a high quality car when you're low on money. Or when you only want to save hundreds, even thousands of dollars on you dream car. Bidding at a car auction is fairly easy. Follow these tips to make it even easier.

1. Always be there early: This will give you enough time to look at all of the cars you like without being distracted by the crowd.

2. Bring a sufficient amount of money: I know this sounds obvious, but there are often taxes and auction fees added on top of your initial bid. This can leave you without enough money to pay for the car you bid on.

3. Don't get attached: Being attached to a car at the car auction often makes you bidding more than the car is even worth. Don't get into a bidding war unless it's a car which you can't live without.

4. Bring a mechanic: Unless you know your way around cars, it's a good thought to bring a mechanic with you to any car auction you attend. Having a mechanic check under the hood can save you from buying a lemon.

5. Bring a Kelly Blue Book: Having a Kelly's Blue book in the neighborhood will give you a quick way to see what the car is really worth. This can keep you from overbidding during the car auction and will also let you recognize if you're particularly getting a deal or being ripped off.

Following these kinds of 5 easy steps will improve your overall experience at any car auction you go to.

Think you can get these car at an Auto Auction?

Maybe you can and perhaps it will be fun the ride

Have you all this time wondered how people have the money to buy such luxury cars as Mercedes or BMWs? There is a good chance that these people bought the car from a government seized Auto auction, or similar repossessed Auto auction. There is a good possibility that he/she did not buy the car at its full price. If you do actually want to get a car like that, seized auto auctions are often a great way to come up with awesome affordable cars.

The cars that come from seized auto auctions are from criminals that have been caught. The government seized these cars as these criminals were dealing with drugs or other illegal activities. Seized auto auctions are also sometimes repossessed cars that people no longer are able to afford and got seized by the bank. You can find practically any type of Auto at a seized Auto auction, including popular brands such as Mercedes, Honda, BMW, Lexus, Cadillac, and Toyota, at far less than blue book prices.

These cars many times had only one owner, and often have very little mileage. You are going to purchase many vehicles in great condition at a seized auto auction. These autos will go for 3 to 4 times their price in a dealership, but are offered at less than wholesale prices at a seized auto auction.

The reason why there are so many of these great cars is because very few people know about seized auto auctions. In ocassions, dealers have inside information on seized auto auctions and get these kinds of cars before you do, and cash in on them for 3-4 times the price they bought them at.

Pick out the cars you are interested in and look over each Auto thoroughly. Make sure that you get a Carfax report on whatever car you're interested in. Always be sure that you are allowed to have the cars inspected by a mechanic too.

You can very much find the car of your dreams at a seized auto auction. And the prices that you will obtain will shock you. Don't ever go to a dealer! Always check out seized auto auctions first!

Buying a Car at an Online Auto Auction

Perhaps a little bit of training for a Manheim Auto Auction?

I found this article by Andrew Bicknell which i think it is appropriate for you given your need to get yourself a car. Enjoy!

For folks that don't know Auto auctions are the quickest and easiest ways for banks and federal agencies to get rid of held and repossessed vehicles. These auctions can be found all over the United States and can occur daily, weekly, and monthly and are a convenient place to find the automobile you've been looking for at a significant savings.

Here are six quick reasons why getting a car at an auction can be a good idea.

1. When you find a good auction site you will experience piece of mind knowing they stake their reputation on offering a good experience.

2. Seized Auto auctions can be a lot of fun. The sheer volume of vehicles to choose from can be relatively good experience.

3. It can help you keep your budget intact when it comes to buying a new/used car.

4. You can set a maximum bid level that keeps you from overbidding and letting your emotions get the best of you.

5. You can save time and struggle by not having to visit high pressure dealerships or driving private sale to private sale hoping to get the car you are looking for.

6. Seized auto auctions are a great place to get great bargains on just now about any type of vehicle. If you are interested in a high end vehicle, but do not care for the retail price tag, then government seized Auto auctions are an option for you.

As you possibly already know, car dealers will do anything to get you into the car of your dreams. Dealers attend these private auctions to buy cars at a fraction of their retail value and subsequently turn them around, increase the price, and sell them to you at a dealership at a huge profit. Just think how much you would save if you bypassed your dealership and purchased directly from their sources. Car dealers know this, and they go to great lengths to protect this knowledge from the general public.

When you initiate a bid remember to stick with your plan, bid with your brain and don't let your emotions get the better of you.
Don't get caught in a bidding war because one thing you have to keep in mind is the buyer's premium. This is usually in the 5% range and is a commission that is paid to the auction house on top of the successful bid on the vehicle. This means if you place a winning bid of say $20,000 you will pay an additional $1,000 to the auction house for their services. This can be a problem if you did not take this into account when you got caught up in a bidding frenzy in which you used every last dollar you had. Use your strive and you will do fine.
Online auto auctions are a great place to find the car or truck you are looking for at a rather large discount. By doing your research and bidding smartly you can save hundreds or even thousands of dollars on superb cars.

Auto Auction Experience

I bet you did not know about this!

Up until now few people know about the good buys that can be found at Auto auctions. Getting a good buy at an auto auction is very easy and very real.

Car dealerships themselves tend to go to auto auctions in order to buy vehicles, which they clean up and sell them to the public at hiked prices, often times profiting triple or significantly larger amount of what they paid.

Yet in reality anyone can attend a public auto auction and buy a car or truck for cheap. Some people even go into this industry for themselves and buy at Auto auctions and then sell them in the local paper, profiting thousands on every vehicle.

But despite of you not being interested in going into business for yourself, purchasing a car for a good buy at an auto auction is easy and straightforward, and most people who attend their first auto auction get a good buy on a great vehicle, some even find themselves the specific car they want for a price much cheaper then they could have found anywhere else.

So instead of getting your next car from a private party or via a used car dealership, why not check out your local auto auction and see for yourself the kind of deals that can be found there.

Auto Auctions: Brief introduction

Provides an overview for Auto Auctions

Auto auctions are a way of selling new, and most often, used vehicles based on auction system. Auto auctions can be found in the majority of nations, but are often unknown to most people. This is, such as in the case of the United States, because this a guarded source for used car dealers. In other countries, such as Japan, auto auctions are well known and used (indirectly) by most people.

In the USA, auto auctions are fairly unknown but do exist. Most auto auctions are close auctions, meaning only dealers can use them. There are also auctions that are open to the public. Most auctions in the United States are used by banks, IRS, and other government agencies to sell repossessed vehicle because failure to pay payments or taxes, or are held by the FBI, DEA, or the police. Also, there are some that sell US Government vehicles.

On line auto auctions are growing in popularity, too. One of the most popular on line car auctions is Ebay. On Ebay, any user can create an account and put their vehicle(s) up for auction. There is usually a small fee associated with selling your vehicle on Ebay. At the time of this writing (2/5/2008), there is a $40 insertion fee, and a $50 transaction fee (total: $90.00) for passenger vehicles . The transaction fee is only charged when the first bid is made (if your automobile has no reserve price), or if your reserve price is met. If there are no bids on your vehicle, or if none of the bids meet your reserved price, you will not be charged the transaction fee. Buying a car on Ebay is much simpler. All you need to do is create an account, then proceed with bidding on your desired vehicle. Some automobiles will have a 'Reserve Price' which is the minimum price the seller will accept for the vehicle. If the reserve price is not met, the vehicle might be considered unsold. The bidding on some cars, especially popular cars through a low reserve, can become fierce. Bids may be entered up to the last second.
