This lens is about me.

My name is Marco Raaphorst and I am a modern composer and sound designer. I am one of the main sound designers for Reason. Do check out the website of my soulful company Melodiefabriek for more information about me.

I am also managing the hip online label DiSfish for licensing music for all sorts of media.

Last but not least: my list of clients

My Combi Manifesto 1 for Reason 3

Combi Manifesto 1 is the first in a series of Reason 3 Combinator packages. Combi Manifesto 1 is programmed by me using only Subtractor, Malstrom, effect and routing devices.

More info: ReasonBanks

My patches for FabFilter Twin VSTi

For the great sounding FabFilter Twin plugin (VSTi) I created 12 patches. These patches are all included in the full package.

The naming convention used for these patches:
<patchname><space>MR.ffp

My patches, samples and sample-loops for Reason 3

For version 3 of the enormously successful software title of Propellerhead, Reason, I was responsible for sound design (creating patches) and for providing content (samples/sample-loops).

For this project I worked in a team with my partners of ReasonBanks.com; Andras Haasz of PinkNoise Studio Inc. (Hungary) and Eric Corminier (France).

Check out the Workstation pages at the Propellerhead website to listen to many of our sounds.

My SynthFactory Refill for Reason 3

For Peff's new book about Reason, 'PowerTools for Reason' (available at Amazon) , I have created a very special Refill with my partner Andras Haasz under the ReasonBanks moniker; SynthFactory.

It contains 23 NNXT patches created by Andras and 11 Combinator patches created by me.

My Combinator patches are created using only Subtractor, Malstrom, effect and routing devices.

My Freezer CD-rom

Freezer is a refill collection CD ROM of the ReasonBanks team, containing all free Refills that we created between 2001 and 2005. That means 35 free Refills (350 MB), and 8 demo Refills (92 MB)! It's included with every CD/DVD product from ReasonBanks.com. When you buy any of them, you will find a Freezer disc in the box.

The following good ol' classic Refills of me are included on the disk:
all-SUB, raapie_OldRecords-1, raapie_AmbientKit, raapie_Digeridoo, raapie_Mellotronic, raapie_QY10, raapie_Rhodes, Zimulator
