Mardy or Marshawn Gilyard was born on December 2nd 1986 in Palm Coast, Florida. He attended the University of Cincinnati where he began his career as a defensive back. His sophomore year he was redshirted due to academic issues but then came back as a wide receiver his third year in school. He Shined at the Senior Bowl and is a top prospect in the 2010 NFL Draft. He is a big play waiting to happen and if he runs a great 40 yard dash... he will be compared to the dynamic WR out of Cal, Desean Jackson. He has the return skills and receiving ability to make a impact his first season in the NFL. It will be interesting to see where he is taken in the upcoming NFL Draft.
