Tickled Pink about Whimsical Museum
Now painted pink and hosting a flock of plastic pink flamingos, the building underwent renovation to become an eccentric museum aimed at adults, according to an article in The Observer (December 9, 2009).
I can't wait to see what Mary Lane, artist and museum founder, puts on display.
"You'll find mostly American artists here - 98% of whom are still alive, which is what makes my museum very, very unusual. Other museums only showcase the work of the dead," Lane told The Observer.

- Visited the museum today with my husband and two of our friends. We had a great time. It's a wonderful place to visit. The art is wonderful, and the gardens are great to walk thru. Very friendly atmosphere. Will definitely revisit.

- Just got back from our visit to this wonderful museum! Truly whimiscal and well worth taking the time to see. A surprise around every corner. Magic and whimsy everywhere you look. Please take the time to see. Awe inspiring!
