1941 Chevrolet Pickup Marines Recruiting Truck - 1:43 Scale

Chevrolet Pickup Marines Recruiting Truck - 1:43 Scale

Like all American automotive companies, Chevrolet was willing and able to do whatever was necessary to help the war effort. The 1941 Light Delivery Pickups featured Chevrolet designers effort to make the front more massive looking, mainly with the 2-part 17-tooth grille. Horsepower for the 6-cylinder engine was increased from 78 to 90. And like all military vehicles, all bright work and chrome have been painted over to reduce visibility from enemy aircraft. With their official military logos and insignias, these 1941 Chevrolet Recruiting Trucks are exact replicas of those that traveled up and down the streets of America during WWII.

Marine Helmet 1:4 Scale

The 101st Airbornes Infantry Division helmet, with its camouflage netting, was there at D-Day and the Battle of the Bulge. The 7th Navy Beach battalion helmet, with its distinctive graphics, stormed Omaha Beach on D-Day. The Marine helmet, with its camouflage cover, served all over the Pacific, never more honorably than at Iwo Jima. These Die-Cast replicas are so realistic the only thing missing is the pictures of their sweethearts in the liners webbing.
