I know that it can be difficult learning how to market your online or home-based business. Let me show you how I do it for free. Free doesn't mean that you won't have to work! But, I can assure you that the work you put into to this marketing plan will pay off.  You will see a dramatic increase in traffic to your website. 

Over the years I have collected, what I consider to be the best ways to market any home based or online business for free.  I have abandoned all of my paid marketing campaigns and focus strictly on free marketing.  There is a downside to free marketing however; it is slower and takes more work on your part than paid marketing. The key to my free marketing plan is that you work the plan exactly as I lay it out without skipping any of the steps. Let's get started using my marketing plan example!

Step 1, Marketing Plane Example - Building A Keyword List 

The very first thing you must do when planning your marketing campaign is build yourself a keyword list. You will want to focus on low competition keywords only. Use one of the various free keyword tools online to develop your keyword list. Once you have your keyword list, take each keyword and complete the following:

Step 2, Marketing Plan Example - Article Marketing 

Write and submit an article to ezine articles. Use one of your keywords as the title and incorporate your keyword into the article. Be careful using your keywords inside of your article. You want to keep the keyword density between 1-3%. That is one to three keywords per 100 words. Your article should provide information only to the reader. Save your sales pitch for the resource box at the end of the article.

Step 3, Marketing Plan Example - Create A Squidoo Lens 

Next, create a free Squidoo lens using the same keyword as the title of your lens. Incorporate any videos you may have created and be sure to include all of your website links. Squidoo lenses are fun to create, so really be creative here.

Step 5, Marketing Plan Example - Create A Free Blog 

After you have your Squidoo lens published, go create a free blog at Blogger or Wordpress. Use your article to create the content for your blog and be sure to include a link to your website and Squidoo lens.

Step 6, Marketing Plan Example - Video Marketing 

OK, now you have an article, a Squidoo lens, and a Blog; now the fun really begins! Go make a video and upload it to Youtube. Here is where you really can sell your online or home based business. Make sure you include a link to your website. Don't be afraid to do this. After you have your first video up and running you will become more comfortable seeing yourself online.
