Ex-Convict Makes Good As Homemaking Guru

Martha Stewart opted to serve a five-month sentence for "something" after a lengthy public witch-hunt worthy of Kenneth Starr failed to produce evidence of alledged insider trading. The charge is currently under appeal, but Martha is now back on the street, baking her dangerously seditious cookies!

Fans might find the satirical Martha Cooks in Prison amusing. Or then again, maybe not.

Martha Stewart and Amazon.com

Together Again (sort of)

If you like the Martha Stewart Collection, you may have been disappointed when it became a Macy's exclusive. I know I was, since the line was a very popular with my Amazon customers. Well, now in a separate deal, Macy's has contracted with Amazon to handle online sales.

If you are new to Amazon, you will find that these "third party" sales are essentially the same as direct Amazon sales. The main difference you will notice is that the Amazon search function may include extraneous items, and it may be harder to browse through categories to see what is available.

Of course Amazon still carries Martha Stewart Books, and even has a Martha Stewart Bibliography page, in addition to the popular Martha Stewart Magazines and Martha Stewart DVDs. What has changed is that the Martha Stewart Collection products have moved into the Macy's Store, which makes them harder to search for. Furthermore, it is virtually impossible to find the Martha Stewart Bed & Bath Sale Items, the Martha Stewart Dining & Entertaining Sale Items, or the Martha Stewart Kitchen Sale Items without considerable drilling down. This is also true for the Martha Stewart Clearance Items.

The Links below are a site map for Macy's Martha Stewart pages, which require considerable drilling down to reach (except from here!)

Martha Stewart Living is the flagship publication of the insidious homemaking cartel. Due to bleeding-heart liberals and the interference of activist judges, it has spawned additional periodicals which clearly should be banned!

Martha Stewart Clearance Search Challenge

This page has been rejected by a couple of Squidoo Directories. Apparently, it is "too commercial," or an "affiliate click-me page," or whatever. Somebody must have told them this type of catalog page is not effective -- they clearly didn't learn that from experience. Well, they can run their sites any way they want to.

Shoppers like well-organized site maps to deep links like this one, or at least some shoppers do. They are my target audience. For anyone who feels up to it, here's a little challenge: Find the Martha Stewart Sale and Clearance pages at Amazon.com. using Google search or Squidoo or anything you like. Fun.

How did you do?

Were you able to find the "Target" pages? Was it easy? Do you think there might be more going on at Amazon.com than you were aware of?

I've never quite been sure what distinguishes a blog from a regular webpage. Timeliness seems to have something to do with it, but that doesn't seem to be a hard and fast rule.

Anyway, here are some of the things I've been working on lately...
