The Red Planet in Fact & Fiction (mostly fiction!)
For centuries, we've wondered if life exists on the planet nearest us.
In fiction, we've traveled there, they've traveled here. It usually hasn't been pleasant for either side.
In fact, only our machines have traveled there. There's been no return visit from them...so far.

- Good start on your lens, keep it up! Actually, we don't know if Martians have visited Earth or not -- microbial Martians that is. Who knows, maybe we started out as Martian microbes?
