Great tips. This lens has a lot of great "back-to-basics" tips. I held a party recently where I went back-to-basics and sold over $700 to four people and had 2 bookings. These ideas work. Thank you.

Wow! You guys must have gotten stuck with a greedy director- they are out there in EVERY industry. It's sad. But don't let it discourage you! Find a director who does things right and lives by the Golden Rule. I leave you with a quote: BE the change you want to SEE!

I'm not sure if most directors are like that. It sounds to me like your director just wants to increase her comission check because she makes a certain percentage off of everything you order from Mary Kay.

I understand that. My director was like that as well and it eventually led to me quitting. It is possible to let your membership lapse(don't buy anything for a year) and then sign on under a different director whom you like better(give different directors a test drive during the time you are letting membership lapse). It will cost $20 to sign up under someone else, but it can make all the difference for some women.

I guess this is not really a feedback or a thumbs up. I just want to complain about my director. Everytime she calls, all she has to say is to put my order in. She forces people (consultants) to put our order in. Are most directors like that?

    Thanks.
