Massage Business Plan

Why Have A Massage Business Plan?

Most new massage therapists seem to be under the false impression that as soon as they graduate and announce they are open for business, clients will miraculously just walk through their door!

Instead, one of the first things you'll want to do is create a mini Massage Business Plan. This will help you work out how many clients you need each week and how you're going to get them.

So What Goes Into A Massage Business Plan?

The first piece of information you'll want to put in your massage business plan is your "Weekly Client Target". This is how many clients you need per day to earn what you want to earn. (Remember to account for your business and living expenses in your desired income!)

Let's say you charge $50 / session. If you want to make $750 / week (which is $37,500 / year with 2 weeks vacation), then you need to see 15 clients / week.

Work out what your "Weekly Client Target" is and enter that into your Massage Business Plan.

Life Time Client Value

Your clients will probably come for more than one session with you. So next you need to work out the "Life Time Client Value" of your average client. (Average Sessions x Cost of Session)

Write this "Life Time Client Value" in your Massage Business Plan.

New Client Target

Now take your "Weekly Client Target", multiply that by 50 to give you your number of clients / year, then divide it by your client's average number of sessions.

This is your "New Client Target", which is the number of new clients you need to generate each week to achieve your "Weekly Client Target".

Write your "New Client Target" in your Massage Business Plan.

    Hi
The info on your lens is really informative and I think so cleverly arranged - finding other lenses with further information and promoting them on your lens is a great idea. Thanks
