Massage Therapy Website

Do I Really Need A Massage Therapy Website?

More than 80% of people will look online for a local service before they'll look elsewhere. Without one you've already lost 80% of your potential audience!

That's how important having a massage therapy website is to the success of your business.

If your business is online already - excellent. If not, it's time to get a massage therapy website unless you're planning on being a 'statistic'.

Think about where you search for local services. If you know your town inside out and back to front, where do you look when you travel to another town you don't know and want a local service?

What Should It Look Like?

Your massage therapy website doesn't have to be fancy, it can be as simple as a one page website.

Obviously the more you get involved in your website, the more you add and the easier it tends to be for people to find it.

However, even a one page site that speaks to your potential clients will get the phone ringing for you.

The Key To Your Massage Therapy Website

The key thing you need to cover on your massage therapy website is the benefits your clients will receive.

This is what "paints a picture" for your clients as to what their life could be like if they got regular massages from you.

You obviously also need your contact details so they can book an appointment with you, however, this doesn't want to be at the top of the page - remember you still have to convince them to call and a phone number won't do that!

Attention Grabber!

At the top of your home page on your massage therapy website, you want a headline that speaks to the benefits your clients want.

This is what grabs people's attention and gets them to read more.

To Give Or Not To Give... Your Price

Never put your price on your massage therapy website.

You are much more likely to get people to decide purely on price whether or not to call you.

If they have to call to ask the price, chances are you've had a brief chat with them before and have found out why they're wanting a massage and told them about some of the benefits they can receive.

This automatically makes the price less of an issue for them.

Definitely - I'm trained to do massage, not website design

No way - it's just common sense

Liked reading your lens...I do have my website, but with so much competition out there, do you still recommend not putting your fees for services on your website? I am proud my fees are reasonable so everyone can enjoy the benefits of massage.

Thanks! You purely attract the price shoppers doing that - if you're fine with that, knowing they'll go elsewhere if you raise your prices, then go for it.
