I feel that One of the most essential elements of becoming an amazing guitarist is becoming proficent in the art of "Guitar Scale Mastery". Without completely mastering guitar scales, it''s quite difficult to create lead guitar parts as well as improvising .Scales are one of the foundational building blocks that are essential to achieving a complete mastery of guitar playing.

There are a few tips a novice should keep in mind while embarking upon their journey to acheive "Guitar Scale Mastery. One tip is to not rush and try to learn a lot of different scales all at once. This can cause your brain to overload, wich leads to excesvie beer drinking due to frustration then you pass out costing you valuable pratice time (been there once or twice) . It''s much easier to just take one scale, learn it, and practice it until you have perfected it. This is much more effective way as oposed to trying to and learn them all at once. By practicing them one at a time you can retain what you have learned. Learning one scale at a time will also boost up your ability to be more creative when improvising, rather than sounding lke a broken record, as if you were playing drills.
