Maui, Hawaii an exotic destination that most of us dream of visiting. A place of immense beauty with breathtaking blue/green oceans, white sandy beaches, tropical vegetation, vast mountainous areas and barren volcanoes. One can experience barefoot walks on soft sandy beaches with ocean waves lapping at your feet. Miles and miles of deep blue ocean to gaze at while spotting the magnificent humpback whales. Beautiful palm trees blowing in the gentle hawaiian breeze and scenic gardens in full bloom. The warmth of the sun can't help but lift your spirits as you take in the amazing beauty of Hawaii! In this lens I will share many of the photographs that I took on my holiday to Maui. Scenes of oceans, beaches, gardens, and other interesting places. Sit back and enjoy the journey!
Trip Review
Beautiful Photogarphy of Maui, Hawaii
My trip to Hawaii was a dream vacation! I spent more time in the ocean than I ever thought I would! For the first time, I learned how to snorkel and went on an amazing snorkeling excursion! I saw the most amazing different types of fish, beautiful coral and oceanlife, it was a real adventure. I also learned how to surf, yes on the big surf boards way out in the ocean! I took a surfing lesson, had a fantastic instructor and got up on the surf board several times! I would do that again in a heartbeat but only in the warm ocean, it's just not the same in cold waters! Swimming and boogie boarding was a lot of fun too! The beautiful beaches and scenery all around is hard to describe! If you ever get the chance to do a Hawaiian vacation I definitely recommend it! Iao Needle

This photograph was taken at the Iao Valley State Park in Maui, Hawaii. The Iao Needle is a 2,250 foot peak that dominates the valley. The peak is known as the phallic stone of Kanaloa, hawaiian god of the ocean.
