My Political Choice

I am a republican because some things are much more important than money!!

Why do I choose the Republican side of things?

Republican or Democrat?

Don't know find out....

I am a republican because some things are much more important than money....

Here's why I choose to be a Republican...

I do not believe in abortion
--life begins at the time of conception!!--

I don't think that the war should just abruptly end...
--that would mean that all the soldiers that have died overseas have died for nothing.
I believe that we need to hurry up and finish our job over there, but don't leave without being done!--

I want to keep the right to have guns!
--I like knowing that if I can't physically protect myself a bullet will do the job for me!--

I want to be able to worship God whenever I want to!
--I believe in God with ALL my heart and no one will ever take that away from me!

I want to have the choice of where my children are taught!
--If I choose to homeschool my children I want to be able to do that legally!--

I'm neither Republican or Democrat nor do I belong to any organized Religion anymore, I am a Christian(follower of Christ) I choose according to my conscience and the word of God.
I believe there are good people in both parties, we can not allow ourselves to categories, as all are not the same...does it mean there is not one Republican that ever had an abortion and all are Christians? does it mean all Democrats are having abortions and are not Christians? none of us are perfect, God is the Judge, He alone is in control...so maybe there will be a lesson for all of us to learn from, we need to pray for our leaders no matter who it is, that is what a Christian is to do....so let's not judge and see what Obama has to offer.

in reply to GabryelandKarilyn Yes you are correct, and sadly enough Obama has won.
I am saddened by the book of Revelation, where it says a great leader will come from no where and there will be peace, and then destruction.
I believe that there is a possibility Obama may be the anti-christ, or a terrorist (although there's not much difference between the two!)
I have faith that God is in control, and He knows what has happened, what will happen, and it is all a part of His wonderful plan. I will continue to pray and hope that Obama's changes he spoke of are for the better of the world, and because God calls me to I will respect authority!
I pray that partial birth abortion is not legalized, guns are not taken from the innocent farmers, and hunters, homeschooling is not made illegal, and that the economy will get out of debt!
Thanks for your comments!
Sincerely,
Jenysie

Well, it's been said. Obama won. Now, it is our responsibility as citizens and above all christians to pray for our authorities in power. I voted the bible - 1st come the moral issues then the rest. Yes I decided to go with McCain at the end. Anyhow, I believe that God is in control, and as it's been said, the new president will be SPIRIT FILLED so imagine, there is hope that Obama won't support the wrong values and morals of those who want to continue destroying the bases of society: family, life, love, purity, fear of God, etc.

God Bless U.S.A. and The World,

Second President John Adams had much to say about government. His whole life was focused on the U.S. which I think was created with government in mind. I just read "John Adams" by McCullough; I find myself quoting him during this election. He wrote, "There is nothing I dread so much as a division of the Republic into two great parties...How few aim, at the good of the whole, without aiming too much at the posterity of parts." I'm voting for Obama!
