Me2Everyone - New Social Networking Site

This is going to be exciting. To get in at the ground flour. What is different about Me2Everyone? The best feature I think they have is Me2Everyone is owned by it's members. Yes!!!

TECH UPDATES
Date : 17th June, 2009

During the last 24 hours me2everyone.com has been offline several times whilst we moved from the Linux servers to the Windows platform. A day's worth of pain now signals the start of a new and exciting journey!

The guys at Dolphin have completed the first main sections of the new members' area and nearly 2000 members will be invited to play with the new site in the next few days! We then launch these vast improvements to all members any day from Tuesday 23rd. Also next week we expect m2e's email server to be ready for action: giving us a chance to subscribe to important developments that affect you in me2everyone; everything from special m2e upgrades, site news and share notifications - all direct to your email.

By July 3rd we expect to begin testing the new version 1.6 front end that gives you an improved layout and a few more features. Also coming early July is the Goto > Work feature of me2everyone.com where we finally put Customer Care Managers on the ground ready to help you with any query. Response times over the current Customer Support system will blow you away - just as they should do!

So, every Friday from next week there will be new features on me2everyone.com - some you will see and some will be improvements in the background code or admin areas. But all will improve your experience of me2everyone.com!

With so many ways to earn money from me2everyone, we wanted a simple delivery solution for the majority of all commissions, dividends and other payments that would be transacted across the world. We researched everything and everyone and eventually (some 6 months ago) reached a conclusion that a me2everyone branded debit card would solve most requirements.

The card would be accepted at virtually every ATM and at millions of locations worldwide. It will work the same as most other debit cards. However whenever used it will also create points (and perhaps more points with registered Business Members). Those points would be exchangeable in me2everyone.com for a wide range of membership upgrades. We are also looking into the prospect of the points being used to swap for shares in the company, but this is sat with our legal team.

OK - another hurdle is over, so now we move to the next stage. Hopefully in the not too distant future you will have the chance to own a piece of me2everyone branded plastic (that also carries the mark of one of the two big payment processors).

"OK, next up is Lou Ann Ephraim (363419) who wanted some clarification on the earning potential from me2everyone, especially considering that we have not yet formally launched.

It's a good question but as our Finance Director David Lewis points out me2everyone is first and foremost a social network where an estimated 90% of our members will be content to use our services and earn money from their shares in me2everyone.

We are planning a more complete set of answers to the whole "how do I make money with me2everyone" question, but for now Lou Ann you are correct in that me2everyone is a new medium for advertisers. However there will be chances for members to make additional income from a variety of different avenues on me2everyone.

Later this summer we launch the "Market Place" - part of the website where buyers and sellers can come together and trade. Now this could be private sales of your unwanted items or sales from your own shop or business. You may be selling a service and so long as it does not break our registration policy then this is another way to make money.

But the Market Place has another feature. If a member recommends someone who buys or sells something in the Market Place, they receive a small commission! Oh and something else to think about - the fees for using the Market Place are going to be a lot lower than what many people are used to using other similar services.

me2everyone forecast that 5.4% of all our members will be Business Members - companies, partnerships and sole traders who want to use me2everyone as a medium to promote their own products and services. There's a role and a commission for every member who recommends prospective Business Members. Another way to earn some money!

You could also refer a Business Member who has a great idea (perhaps an invention) and me2everyone helps develop and launch that idea. Perhaps we have to exclusive marketing rights. Well guess what? You would get a small commission off every sale that entrepreneur makes via me2everyone.

We are also going to form a global sales team for me2everyone. First there's the selling of Business Memberships, but then there's also the prospect of helping a Business Member to achieve more sales. There are also other sales opportunities being developed for products in the me2everyone pipeline. Initial forecasts are that me2everyone will seek a 10,000 strong sales force across the coming 2 years.

Perhaps you don't want a business. Perhaps you are content to use our services and make money from your shares. Well me2everyone still wants to improve your life by negotiating special discounts with all our advertisers. So you use their services or buy the products and you will save money just for being a me2everyone member. We're going a bit further too - but see the next news article "PLASTIC FUTURE"

Finally there is the launch of Customer Care Manager - 70,000 independent businesses that help support our members answering feedback, questions or suggestions. Customer Care Managers are also our local voice, passing information from me2everyone in a more personal way. They will assist in helping members who wish to recommend friends or prospective Business Members. All with respect to local customs and in a language their members will understand. The income potential is attractive - building to USD $20,000 - but more news will come later on this."
