Mervyn King Darts

Well, finally, the brand new new Mervyn King darts are available. Mervyn King has been using these particular darts since the start of this years Premier League Darts tournament although he has mainly been using the standard silver tungsten version.

I have to be honest here, i love these darts. Yes they're are almost identical as his previous Golden Darts, which i also loved, but there's one huge difference. The price. Yip, the old Datadart model cost you £36.99 for the Golden one's but the new Winmau Golden one's only cost a measly £24.99. Well done Winmau for keeping the cost right down. Unicorn, Datadart etc, i hope you're taking note.

Eventually Datadart released the Golden version of the 180 Series. These are the darts that Mervyn King uses today and swears by. I have to admit, these are a fantastic set of darts. If you struggle for a consistent grip then i highly recommend any set of Mervyn King Darts. The only downside to this set is the price, about £35

22g Darts Mervyn King "The King" Golden Tungsten Darts (90)

Soon afetr the release of the 180 Series, the Phantom Grip version was available. The Phantom Grip feature micro rings around the darts which provides immense grip. Also very cheap for the quality of the dart.

These are the original Mervyn King Darts. Although he no longer uses this particular design they are still popular and mass produced. The darts feature 2 curves for easy finger placement, however, if like me, you place all fingers except your little finger on the darts then i would not recommend this particular design.
