Michael Phelps - One Of The Great Swimmer Of All Time
Michael Phelps is a very famous American swimmer. He is now swimming at the 2008 Beijing Olympic and are scheduled to participate in eight events. If he can win gold medal in all of them he will break the 7 gold record in one Olympics set by Mark Spitz at the 1972 Munich Olympics. You can check out his progress like when he will compete and what the result are below. I really hope he could achieve that golden feat.
Yeah! Congratulation to Michael Phelps. He has done it, winning eight gold medals with eight Olympics records and seven world records. Well done. In my opinion he has every reason to claim that he is the greatest swimmer of all time. You are truly an inspiration.

The following is Michael Phelps biography, his sports profile and his latest achievement.
Michael Fred Phelps (born June 30, 1985) is an American swimmer. He has won 14 career Olympic gold medals, the most by any Olympian. , he also holds seven world records in swimming.
Phelps holds the record for the most gold medals won at a single Olympics with the eight golds he won at the 2008 Olympic Games. With this record, he surpassed Mark Spitz, who was also a swimmer and had held the previous gold medal total with the seven that he won at the 1972 Munich Olympic Games.
Overall, Phelps has won 16 Olympic medals: six gold and two bronze at Athens in 2004, and eight gold at in Beijing in 2008. In winning these medals, he has twice equaled Soviet gymnast Alexander Dityatin's record of eight medals (of any type) at a single Olympics; Dityatin garnered eight at the 1980 Summer Olympics, while Phelps won eight medals at both the 2004 Summer Olympics and the 2008 Summer Olympics.
