Michelle Malkin

There are plenty of blogging personalities that I love, but none as much as Michelle Malkin. Not only does she get her point across well, she does it brilliantly and with style. She is witty, poetic, and creative all rolled into one. I'm going to let HER demonstrate that for you in the videos and feeds below. The rest of this introduction was extracted from her bio on FOXNews.com:

Michelle Malkin is a nationally syndicated columnist for Creators Syndicate. Her wide-ranging and news-breaking commentary has been honored by several national organizations.

Her twice-weekly column is published by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Miami Herald, St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Detroit News, Washington Times, Rocky Mountain News, Philadelphia Daily News, Houston Chronicle, Chicago Sun-Times, and New York Post, among a rapidly growing number of newspapers across the country. She also appears weekly in Jewish World Review.

Malkin began her career in newspaper journalism with the Los Angeles Daily News, where she worked as an editorial writer and weekly columnist from 1992-94. In 1995, she was named Warren Brookes Fellow at the Competitive Enterprise Institute in Washington, D.C. In 1996, she joined the editorial board of the Seattle Times, where she penned editorials and weekly columns for three and a half years.

Malkin, the daughter of Filipino immigrants, was born in Philadelphia, Pa. in 1970 and raised in southern New Jersey. She worked as a press inserter, tax preparation aide, and network news librarian. She is also a lapsed classical pianist.

Malkin is a graduate of Oberlin College.

Culture of Corruption: Obama and His Team of Tax Cheats, Crooks, and Cronies

Amazon Price: $16.34 (as of 12/19/2009)Buy Now

The era of hope and change is dead....and it only took six months in office to kill it.

Never has an administration taken office with more inflated expectations of turning Washington around. Never have a media-anointed American Idol and his entourage fallen so fast and hard. In her latest investigative tour de force, New York Times bestselling author Michelle Malkin delivers a powerful, damning, and comprehensive indictment of the culture of corruption that surrounds Team Obama's brazen tax evaders, Wall Street cronies, petty crooks, slum lords, and business-as-usual influence peddlers. In Culture of Corruption, Malkin reveals:

* Why nepotism beneficiaries First Lady Michelle Obama and Vice President Joe Biden are Team Obama's biggest liberal hypocrites--bashing the corporate world and influence-peddling industries from which they and their relatives have benefited mightily
* What secrets the ethics-deficient members of Obama's cabinet--including Hillary Clinton--are trying to hide
* Why the Obama White House has more power-hungry, unaccountable "czars" than any other administration
* How Team Obama's first one hundred days of appointments became a litany of embarrassments as would-be appointee after would-be appointee was exposed as a tax cheat or had to withdraw for other reasons
* How Obama's old ACORN and union cronies have squandered millions of taxpayer dollars and dues money to enrich themselves and expand their power
* How Obama's Wall Street money men and corporate lobbyists are ruining the economy and helping their friendsIn Culture of Corruption, Michelle Malkin lays bare the Obama administration's seamy underside that the liberal media would rather keep hidden.

In Defense of Internment: The Case for Racial Profiling in World War II and the War on Terror

Amazon Price: $22.36 (as of 12/19/2009)Buy Now
Used Price: $1.80

Everything you've been taught about the World War II "internment camps" in America is wrong:

- They were not created primarily because of racism or wartime hysteria.
- They did not target only those of Japanese descent.
- They were not Nazi-style death camps

In her latest investigative tour-de-force, New York Times best-selling author Michelle Malkin sets the historical record straight and debunks radical ethnic alarmists who distort history to undermine common-sense, national security profiling.

The need for this myth-shattering book is vital. President Bush's opponents have attacked every homeland defense policy as tantamount to the "racist" and "unjustified" World War II internment. Bush's own transportation secretary, Norm Mineta, continues to milk his childhood experience at a relocation camp as an excuse to ban profiling at airports. Misguided guilt about the past continues to hamper our ability to prevent future terrorist attacks.

In Defense of Internment shows that the detention of enemy aliens, and the mass evacuation and relocation of ethnic Japanese from the West Coast were not the result of irrational hatred or conspiratorial bigotry. This document-packed book highlights the vast amount of intelligence, including top-secret "MAGIC" messages, which revealed the Japanese espionage threat on the West Coast.

Malkin also tells the truth about:

- who resided in enemy alien internment camps (nearly half were of European ancestry).
- what the West Coast relocation centers were really like (tens of thousands of ethnic Japanese were allowed to leave; hundreds voluntarily chose to move in).
- why the $1.65 billion federal reparations law for Japanese internees and evacuees was a bipartisan disaster.
- and how both Japanese American and Arab/Muslim American leaders have united to undermine America's safety.

With trademark fearlessness, Malkin adds desperately needed perspective to the ongoing debate about the balance between civil liberties and national security. In Defense of Internment will outrage, enlighten, and radically change the way you view the past-and the present.

Ex-Canuck, thanks for your message. What a perfect example of what Michelle Malkin , Fox News, and Limbaugh are talking about! Malkin must be quite threatening to your anti-right agenda for you to feel it is so important to seek out those you hate and call them names. Poor thing; what a miserable way to live.

Malkin is a xenophobic racist. Surprising, since she herself is one generation away from immigrants.

I am sure she has her audience - those who live their lives according to the rants of limbaugh and the talking points of the far, far right wing as espoused on fox news and the former administration.
