MicroGiving.com
MicroGiving is a true charitable website dedicated to direct online person-to-person giving from the heart to those in need. In essence, it's a philanthropic marketplace similar to Ebay but instead of buyers and sellers, there are donors and recipients.

How it Works!

Overview:
As a p2p-giving site, MicroGiving facilitates donations between donors and recipients in need. Donors can find the individual or charitable organization they wish to donate to based on their location, cause, verified level, etc. Each posted request is accompanied by a profile for the respective recipient. Recipient profiles list details about who they are, why they are seeking donations, how they plan to use their donations, the total amount raised from other donors, when the request was posted, public comments from other MicroGiving members, and updates on their current situation.

About Transactions:
Through MicroGiving, 100% of donor donations goes directly to those who need help now. MicroGiving does not charge a fee nor take a percentage of the donations made throught microgiving.com, and relies solely on the philanthropic support of John Ferber.

The Verification Process...
The goal of the verification process is to capture recipient member information and assess critical identity information. The verification process answers the basic question; does this individual meet the minimum requirements of the MicroGiving community? The verification process has 3 levels.
What verification does MicroGiving require recipients to provide before they may be active and seen in the community?

LEVEL 1 VERIFIED:
Verified recipient through proof of identity

LEVEL 2 CONFIRMED:
Confirmation of identity through PayPal

LEVEL 3 APPROVED:
MicroGiving approved recipient with valid
supporting documentation

The MicroGiving Verification increases the confidence of the MicroGiving donors. Donate with confidence to verified level 3 members as thet have successfully completed MicroGiving's verification process to establish their identity and prove their cause with us. Donate to verified "Level 3" members and feel confident that 100% of your donation will go to a valid cause.

Don't wait for another individual or family to go unnoticed, and make a $5 donation today! Your donation has the potential to change a life! Join Now.
