Which MS Windows Vista upgrade should you get?
1. Vista Home Basic ($100 to upgrade to $200 full). You can do most everything you did on the XP with this version. Enhancements include better parental control, Internet security and internet search. However to get the new
Aero" look you'll need to upgrade to the Home Premium package.
2. Vista Home Premium $159 - $239. This has the new Aero look (aero coming from the new areodynamic appearance.) With premium you get attention to your sound, photos and video, with software to edit all three, including recording and watching TV shows (if your PC has a TV tuner.)
3. Vista Business - $199 to $299 . For business owners, this comes with protection against malicious software and also a cool feature that allows you to retreive documents that you have deleted.
4. Vista Ultimate - $259 - $399. This package combines the entertainment features of the Home Premium package with the Business package. Includes a security feature such at BitLocker Drive Encryption, which prevents someone from removing the hard drive to get to your data.
