Leads Generation Using Attraction Marketing.

I first heard the term attraction marketing when I read Mike Dillard's "Magnetic Sponsoring." At the time, I was creating a lot of Craigslist and Backpage ads for my leads capture system. Sure I was generating a good amount of targeted leads using this method, but I wanted a better way to go along with it.

You see, my whole business is based on "me marketing" with streaming video technology so I wanted to do this "attraction marketing" thing I kept hearing about.

I wanted to have my MLM leads chasing ME!

I had just started dabbling in Web 2.0 marketing as it pertains to a network marketer. As an affiliate, it's easy, you just do product reviews. But as a network marketer I knew that I couldn't just go pitch my business web social style.

What "Magnetic Sponsoring" taught me is that attraction is not a choice. People want a leader to follow until they feel confident enough to branch out and become leaders themselves.

As a student of Dani Johnson, I knew the importance of leadership and mentorship within the network marketing industry. I knew that I had to have value in the eyes of others if I were to make this "attraction marketing" thing happen for me.

Mike Dillard tells us in "Magnetic Sponsoring" that:

1. People have a subconcious attraction to others who convey leadership qualities and have a high level of personal value.

2. If you want to make it big in network marketing (or anything in life), you must learn to convey those qualities, and eventually become a leader with value to offer others.

When a new prospect joins your team, unless they were already "heavy hitters" in the network marketing world, they'll probably struggle with these things as well.

Our job as network marketers is to continue to increase our own knowledge, skill set, and leadership qualities each and every day. We must also take that knowledge and use it to rise up new leaders within our organizations.

When we start to gain new skills and believe in ourselves, this will make us shine in the eyes of others who come in contact with us. They will look at you and think "Wow, she must really know her stuff. Look at the way she carries herself!"

Once you get to that Pre-Alpha phase, your whole demeanor changes. You train your new distributers with authority because you know what you're telling them will work. Your whole posture changes with your prospects. You start helping out on training calls. You take full responsibility for your own marketing campaign, never expecting someone else to build your business for you. Your confidence steadily rises.

Let's talk for a minute about taking responsibility for your own marketing campaign and leads generation. If you expect your upline to build your business for you, you're dead in the water.

In the beginning we all have a hard time but if you have a vision and you believe in your products, you just can't quit. Every single network marketer I've ever met has wanted to quit at some point or another.

Imagine how close to success you just might be if you quit?

I know that I'm finally at a point in my carreer where I feel that I truly have something to offer those who I bring into business with me. I feel as though I have the strength to rise up the leaders who don't even know they're leaders yet.

And as far as the "attraction marketing" thing goes, it works. I just had my computer in for repairs for 4 days and didn't post a single Craigslist or Backpage ad in that whole time (and I never use PPC) and I got my computer back to find more leads than I could shake a stick at after all that time.

Why?

Because I'm putting most of my efforts into places where I can show my prospects who I am as a person, what I believe in, and what I have to offer. Those are the kind of leads you want to attract to your business. The ones you get from "attraction marketing."
