Miley Cyrus : Hannah Montana

For my daughter's 6th birthday she chose to have Hannah Montana themed party. I think it turned out great!

I was looking around trying to find an idea for the birthday cake. I was thinking guitar, microphone, flower, star...something had to jump out at me though. I found a mini stars cake pan and thought it would be perfect. Hannah Montana is a "star" and each child could have their own mini cake. That would mean not having to deal with cutting a cake during the party. Bonus!

I used two different cake batters and frosted a total of 24 mini star cakes. I used 4 colors of frosting to coordinate with the theme colors, white, pink, blue and purple, and bought matching cake glitter to sprinkle on top.

At the time of my daughter's birthday party the Hannah Montana piñata that matches the birthday theme wasn't out yet.

We bought a blank one at our local party store, printed out an image of Miley and attached it to the piñata. Luckily the blank one we found was a pull string version...I wouldn't want kids to be hitting poor Hannah or Miley in the face. ;)

Now there are coordinating piñatas that goes with the theme.

You could also use a star or flower shaped piñata. Maybe even a shoe or purse.

 

Jackson is Miley's dorky older brother. Always getting into something, he's the one who gets the most laughs. He's not the sharpest kid on the block but he's a good brother who helps Miley keep her secret.

Jackson, the character, is a teenager but Jason, the actor, is actually born in 1977. He's got a baby face and a small stature and can pull it off.

Lilly is Miley's best friend. She's a tomboy who likes to skateboard and surf. She was a Hannah Montana fan before she knew it was really Miley and now helps keep her secret from everyone at school. Lola is her alter ego when hanging out with Hannah so as not to tip anyone off.

Emily's birthday is March 10, 1992. In real life she is Haley Joel Osment's younger sister.

Oliver and Lilly have been best friends since preschool. When Miley moved to California they welcomed her into their click. He's now one of Miley's best friends too. He used to have a crush on Hannah before he knew it was Miley but once she revealed who she was he moved on to a new celebrity crush.

Mitchel's birthday is July 9, 1991. In real life he's also a singer.

Robby is Miley's dad, manager, producer, and songwriter. When he's out with "Hannah" he disguises himself with a mustache and hat.

Billy Ray is Miley's father on screen and off. He was the reason she got into singing and acting. He's a multi-platinum selling country singer and was the star of the TV show Doc.
