I Love the JDT MiniMax
Hello, My Name is Dayle Medley and I want to share with you my love for the JDT MiniMax. This fabulous little Ultralight Airplane was designed by Wayne Ison.
It is a wood framed Airplane that is covered with cloth and painted.
My Love of this little Airplane began 5 years ago and I want to tell you this Small Ultralight Aircraft has won my heart.
Barney's Mini Max
Easy to Build and Fun to Fly
The name JDT Mini-MAX says it all
A Minimum cost aircraft, requiring a Minimum of building space, time or skill. A "Maximum" high of pure pleasure and performance.
Now you can build and fly your own airplane for less than you think... with time tested and proven designs from JDT Mini-MAX Aircraft. They have helped put hundreds of "New Builder/Owners" into the air... a "first time feeling" that you can only experience by being up there proudly flying your own, self-built aircraft. From Ultralights to Microlights to Experimental Aircraft... JDT Mini-MAX can get you into the air affordably.

Hey, yes, I'm a mini-max lover. I built an EROS mini-max 1650 in 1999 and am still flying it; it fact I flew it today. Keep it at Merritt Island Airport, Florida. Busy field as they are training all Air India pilots. But it is lots of fun. I'm on my second 503 w/dual carbs; if I can be of any assistance to anyone, let me know. I "ain't been there and done it all", but after 20 years of USAF Avionics Maintenance and 28 years of flying, I've seen a little bit of it.

Nice video, nice aircraft. It's never had quite the popularity it deserves in the UK.

JDT offers Low Cost Starter Kit
The Fin Starter Kit includes everything you need to easily build a typical JDT Mini-MAX kit component, using the simple JDT Mini-MAX construction techniques. Includes plans, all material, epoxy, even a staple gun and staples. Please note... The Fin Starter Kit is an actual component intended to introduce and demonstrate the ease of building with wood, however, it is not intended to replace the fin which will be shipped in the kit. A fin will be included with each tail kit or full airframe kit.
