The original Mickey Mouse Club is a favorite for those old enough to remember it. The first Mouseketeers wore the Mickey Ears on every show. The first Mickey Mouse Club came out in 1955 and was created by Walt Disney. The last series was completed in 1996. Throughout the years many teenagers have come and gone on the show.

The 1955 Version:
The original show which aired in 1955 through 1959 and in re-runs from 1962-965, had the following group of teenagers:

The Mickey Mouse Club was brought back to life in a new program called the All New Mickey Mouse Club, with a whole new generation of young performers.

The cast had a more diverse ethnic background than the 1950s version. Several 1970s cast members went on to become TV stars and other notable icons.

The show's most notable alumna was:

sitcom The Facts of Life before becoming a well-known
Christian author.
*Julie Piekarski who also appeared with Lisa Whelchel on
the first season of The Facts of Life.

*Shawnte Northcutte who appeared once on Facts of
Life.

before and after the series, a fifth-season episode of

*Nita Dee who appeared at the tail end of an episode of

The 1990s Version:

The shows name was revised and called The All New Mickey Mouse Club or MMC for short.

Five members of the show (Damon Pampolina, Tiffini Hale, Chase Hampton, Albert Fields and Deedee Magno) broke off and formed the musical group The Party, and released four full length albums: The Party; In The Meantime, In Between Time; Free; and The Party's Over...Thanks For Coming. They had a radio hit with the Dokken cover of "In My Dreams".

The sixth and seventh seasons of the show would be the starting point for several American pop superstars and actors.

The only Mouseketeers who remained on the show until its cancellation in 1994 were Lindsey Alley, Jennifer McGill and Josh Ackerman with Tiffini Hale and Chase Hampton back for the final season.

The main theme throughout the entire time was they all wore the famous Mouseke-ears at one point or another. The Mickey and Minnie "ears" are known the world over as the symbols of the Disney characters, especially Mickey.

Together they make such a cute couple. They seem to fit right together. I went to a wedding once that was themed as Mickey and Minnie because the bride loved Minnie. She even wore a set of "Ears" as she walked up to the alter.
