This TV looks absolutely amazing, I would highly recommend anyone looking for a large TV (in the range of 60"+) to get a DLP TV. Try finding a plasma or LCD of this size that's comparably priced--they don't exist. TV is very easy to setup, has excellent picture quality, great sound (suitable until you can setup a surround sound install for it) and a great price. The only downside is that DLP televisions are thicker generally than Plasma and LCD so they aren't usually wall mounted, but for a savings of 1000+ USD, who cares?
One thing I will say is, if you go to a brightly lit showroom and compare LCD to Plasma to DLP, you will probably think that DLP isn't as good, because under that bright and harsh a light, the brighter a TV appears, the better you assume the picture quality, but then when you bring it home those super bright colors just appear washed out and harsh. Also, when dealing with LCD and Plasma, after 20,000 or so hours they will be significantly dimmer and at around 40,000 hours they will probably be unwatchable and you'll have to buy an entirely new TV. With DLP, after a few years you just need to pop in a new lamp at the cost of around 100 bucks, and you've basically got a brand new TV.
Bottom line, if you want a very large TV that supports 1080P and 120HZ (important for watching fast action scenes filmed at 24 FPS) and don't mind having to buy a stand instead of a wall mount kit, then DLP is the way to go and this TV is among the best value in the DLP realm.
Also, I must say buying with Amazon has proved to be a great experience. The first TV I received had a small crack in the bottom of the screen that occured during the shipping process. I called Amazon and they immediately shipped me a replacement. The carrier that came unpacked the new TV, packed up the old damaged TV, installed the new TV, and took ALL the packaging for both TV's--Completely hassle-free!

Mitsubishi WD-60735 60-Inch 1080p DLP HDTV
The Mitsubishi 735 Series is a group of widescreen HD DLP projection televisions, all with large screen sizes (the smallest is 60"-diagonal). They are mid-range TVs, and though they do not use LCD or plasma displays, the frames are still thin for projection units. They are designed largely for home theatre use, and support high-definition resolutions up to 1080p. They all feature Mitsubishi's 12-bit digital video processor and 36 bit deep color, as well as 4D video noise reduction. They also come with DLP's 3D TV feature. Every member of the series has 2 rear component inputs and 1 front input, as well as 3 rear HDMI inputs and two audio outputs (stereo and digital). Each unit has two 10W speakers and a front component/composite input. The 735 series are all compatible with Dolby Digital and AC3 surround sound and have an audio leveler. All three of the TVs in this series have absolutely identical features. The only differences are in physical size weight and screen size.Amazon Price, Rating, More Reviews and Specifications: Mitsubishi WD-60735 60-Inch 1080p DLP HDTV
Very Good HDTV, March 15, 2009
By N. Wood (Cleveland, OH USA) - See all my reviews
We decided to go HD after a long time of waiting. We, for a very long time, used a Toshiba Rear-projection TV at 50" in our living room. We decided that we would need a TV large enough to take the place of that TV and to make it not look so small. DLP is the right choice for this since you can get a much larger screen size at a lower cost than LCD or Plasma. Since we had good luck with our other rear-projection, we figured that we would have good luck with this TV. Having it for a month now, there have been no issues and our view experience is great. The matted screen makes glares much less harsh (our old TV had a glossy screen). The weight of this TV is extremely light for its size, our friend has a 42" LCD which is much heavier than this. As long as you're planning to put the TV on a stand, the lack of it being a flat panel shouldn't be a big deal. 1080p content through our Xbox 360 is very detailed and sharp and the TV never lags behind nor have I seen any "rainbow effect" from this TV during normal viewing. The only con with this TV is the build in speakers to the TV are very tinny and all around subpar. Although if you use this TV hooked up to an AV receiver you will have no issues, you buy a TV for the picture, not the sound. All around I am very happy we bought this TV. I've had nothing but good luck with Mitsubishi, in fact, we still own an old Mitsubishi console color TV from the early 80s that works perfectly. You should have no regrets in buying this DLP HDTV.

This Mitsubishi DLP blew me away!!!!, June 1, 2009
By Scott M. Harrington "VegasRPh" (Vegas!!)
We were considering replacing our older Panasonic CRT 47" 1080i rear projection TV, but it was working fine......until Friday night!! The TV kicked the bucket, so we went out looking & read some reviews here on Amazon for various DLP's, Plasmas & LCD's. I wanted something larger than 55" and in 1080p. After looking at several TVs (plasma & LCDs) we kept going back to this Mitsubishi WD-60737....it just had an amazing picture! As luck would have it, a local retailer had it on SALE for $995.00!! WOW! We bought the Mitsubishi DLP, a Panasonic Blu-Ray player and TV stand all for under $1,500.00!!
Once we got it home and out of the box, we played SD cable channels (these actually looked better than expected, we were impressed that the stations did NOT look grainy) and HD cable channels (absolutely stunning.....HD Nascar & HD baseball was breath-taking). Once we had the Panasonic Blu-Ray player up and running, we watched various DVDs that we rented from the movie store. wow, WOW. We couldn't believe our eyes!! The Disney-Pixar movies looked stunning, we watched TAKEN and it was AWESOME.
Honestly, there are NO faults with this DLP. We wanted to get the 65" version, but it was just a little too big for our living room. The 60" is PERFECT for us. The features on this TV are endless, the picture is darn near perfect "out of the box", Blu-Ray makes this DLP TV really SHINE!!
This TV is awesome, no complaints (how could you complain getting one for $995??). Go get this DLP.....you will love it!! (Don't forget a Blu-Ray player!!)
