When used with an isometric training strategy on specific muscles in the body, the moment of forces (engineering mechanics) they generate at the desired joints in the body, causes a recruitment of motor units (anatomy) in an unconventional pattern, resulting in an immediate over-stimulation of the muscle fibers.
