Hi i read that the fluffy thing is a parasite, and im wondering if do all dog demons have it because Sesshomaru's mom and dad have that fluffy thingy too.

In case you haven't found the right fur try looking for 100% high quality acrylic faux fur. It is soft, luxurious, looks real, and often custom made (also less expensive than real fur). Websites like fauxpawfurs.com sell the material by the yard and various other sites also have it. White mink, wolf, or arctic fox could work very nicely for you.
Also about the mokomoko-sama, while it is indeed an extension of Sesshoumaru's yokai I do believe it was detatched from him at one point or another and used to "strangle" an opponent making it not connected to his body. Sesshoumaru's mother also has such a mokomoko or boa and wears it across both shoulders as a boa usually is worn.

Okay, dude, you are SOOOO off about the mokomoko....
    I researched it.

It is NOT his tail. It is a paracetic demon which is attached to his back.

I'm adding this update in the comments so I don't have to change anything in the lens:

As October is winding to an end and my annual NaNoWriMo plans get under way, you will see me on Squidoo less and less. Like wise my costume sewing and creation is being put on hold during the month of the contest. Every year November ranks as my busiest month, as I join the annual writing contest madness, so this lens is not likely to be updated again until some time in December, after the National Novel Writing Month contest ends.

Absolutely love your guide, the ideas I'm getting are pretty good. I don't have quite the level of income to pull off the costume to your level, but its still going to cost me a good 600 dollars to finish this costume compared to 300 for my Hichigo and 150 for Agito lol. I can't wait to see pics of the process!

This is a wonderful site . . . Plus, I learned something, too. Can't wait to see a photo of your creation when it is finished.
