You see money doesn't bring you happiness, but it can certainly create the environments within which it is much easier to be happy.

Have you heard the phrase, "he'll get what's coming to him?" It is often a phrase that predicts negative consequences from a negative action. If someone deliberately cheats you, you might think, "well, he'll get what's coming to him." This is the basis for the Law of Attraction. It is true that the one who cheats will eventually attract that upon themselves. But the law also works in the other way. If you treat others with respect and do not undermine them, you will reap the rewards.

One of the most important aspects of the law is that of looking to your own house. Rather than blaming someone else for your troubles, ensure that everything of yours is in good order. Use the Law of Attraction to bring good to you by desiring and expecting a favorable outcome. As before, the results may not be immediate, but your progress will be steady, and you will develop a force of attraction that will continually serve you in the future.

Remember that whatever situation you find yourself in is of your own making. If you aren't happy with it, use your dissatisfaction to improve yourself. Do not dwell on the lack of money, limited resources or other such negativity, for if you constantly fret about it, it will never leave you.

Likewise, if you get great pleasure when you take a shortcut to success, this will only bode ill for you in the future. If things seem to work out for you and you achieve a lot at no cost to yourself, be warned that it will not last. The Law of Attraction will level things out eventually.

It might also feel great when you find an item much cheaper than you ever expected to, but this too is only a short-term success. This is violating the law, because odds are that someone is cutting corners of their own to bring you this item at this price.

Most people have been in a situation where money is extremely tight. In order to maximize your return, you hold on to what little you have and are extremely stingy. While this might seem necessary at the time, your constant fixation on your lack of money will only produce negative consequences for you in the future. It's difficult to part with money under those circumstances, but you must learn to do so gladly.

You might hear an athlete asked if he has any thoughts regarding defeating his opponent. More often than not, they will respond by saying that they're only trying to do their best.
