Monster High Dolls

Wow! Finally a line of dolls that are truly unique. These beauties will capture the imagination of younger teens. Fascination with vampires and werewolves has swept the world with the Twilight series. It's a huge genre at the moment but aimed more towards the older teenagers. Monster High Dolls will be targeted towards the tweens but really everyone will love them. Doll collectors as well as monster and horror fans will be thrilled to get their hands on these dolls.

Based on the Monster High series the dolls all have a unique personality determined by their own freaky flaw. They have to go through the same challenges that any teen would going to high school. This includes fitting in despite their flaws which includes Deuce Gorgon turning his friends to stone and Frankie Stein coming apart at the seams. Each character has to deal with this as well as making friends. Kids will be able to identify with the characters from the series, making Monster High Dolls even more interesting.

Frankie Stein is the 15 year old daughter of Frankenstein and his bride. Her freaky flaw is coming apart at the seams. Sometimes her arms tend to fly off during Fearleading tryouts. She has a really cool style all of her own and loves her two BFF's, Draculaura and Clawdeen Wolf. The three of them are inseparable and love nothing more than to go shopping.
Frankie has her own pet called Watzit who is made up of all different animal parts, but he's sooooo cute.

Draculaura is the daughter of Count Dracula and is actually 1599 year old. Thank goodness vampires age well! Draculaura's freaky flaw is that she can't see her own reflection in a mirror. It makes you wonder how her makeup always look perfect, must be lots of practice. She loves shopping of course with Frankie Stein and Clawdeen Wolf.
Draculaura has a cute little pet bat called Count Fabulous.

Clawdeen Wolf is the 15 year old daughter of the Werewolf. Going shopping for clothes is her favorite pastime shared with her two BFF's, Draculaura and Frankie Stein. Clawdeen Wolf's freaky flaw is being incredibly hairy. It's a full time job keeping up with all that plucking, shaving and waxing.
Clawdeen has a fuzzy little kitten called Crescent.

Lagoona Blue is the daughter of the Sea Monster which gives her a love of the ocean. She has a casual style and lives surfing. Her freaky flaw is her skin tends to dry out if she's out of the water too long. I guess that's why she loves surfing.
Lagoona has a pet pirahna called Neptuna.

Cleo De Nile and Deuce Gorgon are the cool couple of Monster High. Cleo is also the mean girl or the Queen Bee. Shes the captain of the Fearleading squad. Being the 5842 year old Egyptian princess of The Mummy makes her think she has some authority. Her freaky flaw is that she's afraid of the dark, for a Mummy that's bizarre. Cleo has a pet cobra called Hissette.
Deuce Gorgon is the 16 year old son of Medusa. He's one cool dude, a skater boy and really popular. His freaky flaw is turning his friends into stone if he looks at them without his sunglasses on. Luckily that only lasts 24 hours. Deuce has a pet rat called Perseus.

Ghoulia Yelps is the daughter of Zombies from the Zombie movie Night of The Living Dead. Ghoulia is the smartest girl at Monster High and wears horn rimmed glasses. She loves to read. She is BFF's with everyone. Her freaky flaw is that she tends to walk slow like a Zombie, speak like a Zombie and has trouble making facial expressions. Ghoulia has a pet owl called Sir Hoots A Lot.

Holt Hyde is the 16 year old son of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. Holt's freaky flaw is that he has a bad temper and sometimes has a hard time remembering things. He loves being the DJ at Monster High and is good a mixing music. He has flames for hair and a yin yang symbol tattooed on his back. Holt has a pet chameleon called Crossfade who likes changing just like Holt.

Jackson Jekyll is the only human at Monster High and is the normal side of Holt Hyde. Jackson loves going to the beach and playing Volleyball. He also has a yin yang tattoo like Holt because as we know he is Holt before his transformation. He has black hair with blonde streaks. and a pierced eyebrow. he's a bit shy but really cool, Jackson Jekyll transforms into Holt Hyde at nightfall which lasts until dawn. Nether Holt or Jackson have any control over this.

Spectra Vondergeist, previously known as 'Ghost Girl', and 'Spectra von Hauntington' is the daughter of the Ghosts. She can float through the walls and possesses an "uncanny" ability to overhear school gossip.Spectra's pet is a purple ghost ferret named Rhuen.

Monster High Dolls are fully articulated making it really easy to redress them. Each Monster high Doll comes complete with their personal pet, a brush, accessory, diary and stand. Monster High Dolls come with a diary that has a secret code. This code allows access to the interactive website where you can get inside information on what's going on at Monster High, games and activities. Having the stand allows you to display the dolls with ease and each one has a different accessory. Monster High Dolls are not suited to younger kids as the earrings can be changed as well as the arms pulling apart at the wrist and elbow.
Don't despair though as there is also a plush version of the dolls suitable for the little ones.

Mattel has put a lot of thought into the Monster High Franchise. Not only are the dolls a big hit but there is a full feature action move planned with Universal Pictures which will propel this franchise even further.
The Monster High Book series is being launched written by Lisi Harrison the #1 New York Times best selling young adult author.
An animated special with music by "American Idol" star Allison Iraheta will air soon.
Of course the Monster High Dolls would not be complete with out a whole range of toys, clothing, Halloween costumes, handbags, shoes, hair accessories, jewelry, socks and slippers just to name a few.
