Montegrappa Writing Instruments

Montegrappa is the Italian luxury writing instrument brand.  Montegrappa is the oldest Italian manufacturer of fine writing instruments being founded as "Manifattura pennini d'oro e penne stilografiche" ("Maker of gold nibs and fountain pens") in 1912.  Montegrappa was established in the Italian village of Bassano when, Alessandro Marzotto and Heinrich Helm  joined in partnership to form Italy's oldest pen factory.  Montegrappa 's artisans further enhance the casts by hand engraving.   Montegrappa manufacturer stands in the same historic building on the bank of the River Brenta, in one of the most picturesque areas of the historic town of Bassano del Grappa in the prosperous north-eastern part of Italy.  Montegrappa offers one of its most classic models in a new garb: taking as inspiration an historical piece from the Thirties belon.
Montegrappa is synonymous of superb craftsmanship and sophisticated technology applied to the art of writing.  The use of antique and refined craftsman's techniques, combines with processes borrowed from the goldsmith's art, such as a burin engraving and hot enamelling, and the use of the most selected and precious materials (celluloid, titanium, silver, and solid gold), makes a Montegrappa pen an exclusive luxury good, an emotional object that as the capacity to distinguish its owner.  In the hands of the highest statesmen of the world and of main personalities of the cultural and artistic panorama, since their introduction, Montegrappa Jewels for Writing are available in limited quantity at a selected net of authorized dealers.  Montegrappa predominately use bright celluloids and resins with sterling silver accents, with some pens available with a choice of 18K gold accents.  Montegrappa nibs are fairly small affairs in two-tone 750 / 18K gold, with the yellow gold appearing in a subtle, Greek key pattern border.  Montegrappa pens are offered along with Montegrappa, Montegrappa, Montegrappa and Montegrappa.  Montegrappa pens and the Danish pen favorite penol are usually found on the pen auction.
