Cat's Eye Moonstones

This is know as a "PHENOMENAL GEMSTONE"

Cat's eyes are produced when a strong source of light (like the Sun) reflects off of the multitude of geometrically arranged layers of threadlike inclusions. If the threads in the gem all align themselves in a single direction, much like the strands in a spool of thread, the reflection will appear as a single ray of light called Chatoyancy, or Cat's-eye. The Cat's-eyes can occur in Feldspar, Chrysoberyl, Tourmaline and Quartz gems.

Moonstone can be gently wiped clean with a soft lint free cloth. You may oiled them if they loses their luster. Avoid exposing them to excessive light and harsh chemicals. You should remove moonstone jewelry to prevent it from being submerged with you bathe or clean.

Moonstones can be steam cleaned but Ultra Sonic cleaning should be avoided.
