Dealing with the Credit Crunch

From my Newsvine Feed: http://julialaq.newsvine.com

During this time of credit woes and worry, it is no wonder so many people are concerned with their current mortgage. The mortgage and financial industry mess has left many consumers scared that their current mortgage will take a significant toll on their financial condition. With a declining rate of retirement security for many baby boomers, the mortgage problem just adds another concern to the already stressed and over-worked baby boomers. It seems to be everyone's worst nightmare that their most sound investment, a home, could cause them financial difficulty and worry. Housing prices has dropped significantly over the past year. Also, in one news article I posted, "17 million of American households in 2005 were putting more than half their income into paying for shelter - a rise of 1.2 million from the prior year, and a jump of 3.2 million from 2001." However, some people are still managing to keep afloat. With the fall of the subprime market, it may seem nearly impossible to get a loan or refinance, especially on a super jumbo loan. I started contacting companies for my refinance this past spring and no one could place my loan. Finally I found a company that was able to place it. (http://www.bestnationwideloans.com). They seemed to have a lot of experience and were able to get me a loan much quicker then I had expected considering I had been trying to work with other brokers/lenders for over a month. I have a mediocre credit score and they didn't even require income verification which made the process so much easier and faster. If you are looking for a super jumbo loan, I recommend contacting www.bestnationwideloans.com. It is definitely not easy to find a company to work with at this time. Keeping up to date the the real estate market is essential especially with the state of our current economy.
