Munster, Indiana

Munster was a great place to grow up. It was just like in the movies. A beautiful and safe town, with a loving family. In hindsight, I could have not asked for a better place to live.

To this day Munster is a wonderful town. It is continually growing and evolving.

I hope to share general information about the town and some of my favorite places.

My favorite restaurant

Munster GyrosMunster Gyros is simply the best. My family and I have been frequenting this restaurant for over 25 years. John and his partner do it right!

The quality of their food is second to none. The menu has something for everyone. My personal weakness is for the BBQ Gyros Platter, but everything is excellent (Their ribs are also incredible).

This place is worth the trip. It sits on the east side of Calumet Ave, just north of Ridge Road. Enjoy.
